The Bureau of High Speed Rail has auctioned off the 2011 bid-sale of designated land at Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, and Tainan Station of the Taiwan High Speed Rail. The auction has finished bidding on 7th September 2011, followed with the results as below:
For the 5 bids (6 lots) of designated area for construction at the Taoyuan Station, the Bureau of High Speed Rail in total received 29 tenders. Among these 29 tenders, 4 bids have been auctioned off successfully, with bidding prices being respectively NT$88,028 to NT$118,889 per square meter. As for the other bid (Taoyuan 3), due that the information attached by the bidder still needs to be clarified, this auction is temporarily procrastinated for closure.
For the 2 bids (2 lots) of designated area for construction at Hsinchu Station, the Bureau of High Speed Rail has in total received 3 tenders. 1 bid of the land (Hsinchu 1) has been auctioned off successfully, with the bidding prices being NT$136,125 per square meter. However, the land Hsinchu 2 has no bidder.
For the 5 bids (5 lots) of designated area for construction at Taichung Station, the Bureau of High Speed Rail has in total received 22 tenders. All 5 bids have been auctioned off successfully, with bidding prices respectively being NT$45,012 to NT$53,888 per square meter.
For 2 bids (2 lots) of designated area for construction at Tainan Station, the Bureau of High Speed Rail has in total received 3 tenders. 2 bids have been auctioned off successfully, with bidding prices respectively being NT$21,502 and NT$18,268 per square meter.
For the auction land at designated areas near the High Speed Rail Station, besides Hsinchu 2 being too near the high-voltage tower, causing no one want to made the bid; other lands have all been bided enthusiastically. Even lands near Taichung Station and Tainan Station that have never been auctioned off before, have been auctioned off successfully this year. This indicates that the peripheral development of designated (land) areas have already been broadly accepted by all circles.
For related information of this tender, please pay a visit to the webpage of Bureau of High Speed Rail at: www.hsr.gov.tw, or call 02-8072-3333 ext. 5000 and 5610 for inquiry.
